Now that I know what a podcast is, how do I use it?
- You need podcast receiver software to subscribe. A free, open-source podcast receiver called “Juice” is available from the link below. You can also use Apple's iTunes software, or any other podcast-enabled software you choose.
- Once you install the podcast receiver, you have an option to add a feed. Select your feed then copy this link and paste it into the new feed field in your software.
- Your podcast receiver sotware should now check ncCulture.com podcast at whatever interval you specified and alert you to (and/or download) the latest episodes of our show.
- To listen to our show, you need a media player capable of playing MP3 files, which is just about every media player in existence. If you use a Windows PC, you may already have Windows Media Player installed. If you are using a Mac, you probably have Quicktime installed. If not, you can choose one of the other players.
